簡單說
一首纏綿婉轉的情歌
低沉沙啞的嗓音
完美詮釋了一種癡情的音樂表現

1994年Seal演唱的單曲，並收錄於他的專輯Seal II
1996年獲得第38屆格萊美獎 "年度歌曲"、"年度製作"、"最佳流行男歌手"
1995年蝙蝠俠3採用作為主題曲重新發行
所以會有蝙蝠俠主題的MV
這部MV獲得第12屆MTV音樂錄影帶大獎

感想：

這首歌當年非常紅
紅到一種沒人沒聽過的境界
前面說過了
他的MV獲得第12屆MTV音樂錄影帶大獎
當年走進KTV想表現自己好炫好潮好有光(當然以前沒有這些形容詞，應該是說好酷好帥之類的
唱這首不會有問題(當然首先你得會唱
最紅的時候要跟這首拚只能找麥可傑克森 { HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I }這張專輯裡面的

蝙蝠俠3其實只在方基墨的一幕愛情場景用了這首歌(所以有收錄在電影原聲帶
這真的不是貫穿全部電影的強烈比率
但是這首歌存在感就是太強烈了
所以直接變成蝙蝠俠3的主題曲

關於這首歌的誕生還得感謝Seal的一位朋友(不知名)
原本Seal只是有天隨興試唱了幾首自己不滿意的歌曲
有錄下來
不過他本人覺得是黑歷史想挖坑埋起來
結果有一天他放給自己一位死黨聽
死黨告訴了他的製作人
製作人才叫他把這首歌唱出來
差點這首神曲就被埋沒了

一種非常獨特的曲子，盡管並不像空靈曲風那樣直憾靈魂般衝擊人心，但是黑人靈魂
樂的神髓無疑灌注其中！
那種乍聽平淡，卻一波波加重衝擊靈魂的特有風格，無疑是黑人靈魂節奏音樂的應用
。雖說是如此，當然若說有點小遐疵的話；黑廚個人是覺得，歌手在詮釋這首曲子歌
詞中的悲愴感表現上力度有些不足‧‧‧
其實這首曲子歌手能有這樣的表現已是可圈可點了，然而在對於長期處於人類社會或
自己心理黑暗世界的人們，那種渴望擁有光明的激切、著急與身處黑暗的無奈‧‧‧
更是須要像黑人靈魂樂中，不斷一波波加重衝擊，不達目標永不停止般的吶喊！
或許這是因為是紓情曲的原故吧，可能在詮釋的方式上演唱者不得不做某種程度的調
整‧‧‧ 但真的是首好的曲子，聽聽看吧！ {:40:}

畢竟自己一向習慣聽輕快的歌曲、或是輕音樂…等明快/溫和的曲子，

所以其實我一開始並不是很喜歡這首歌，

但怎麼說呢…這首歌的後勁很強，

聽到後面、掌握它的旋律和意境後，反而不自覺的去按下重播鍵，慢慢玩味歌曲中存在的意境，

也許這種感覺難以用言語表達，親自去體會才能體會其中的奧妙吧。

很難想像這首歌能搭在蝙蝠俠3電影裡
從不知道電影的劇情內容是什麼
音樂倒是越聽到後面  越能引起聆聽的興致啊
