關於WHAT IS PHILOSOPHY?這本哲學書裡面的問題

1.十七、十八世紀，偉大的哲學家認為人性的研究，是揭示我們知識性質的限制和基礎。如果在宇宙中存在著有理性的非人類的生命，它們有和我們相類似的知識型式，但是它們沒有人性，那麼他們對於這種可能性會有甚麼反應？(這是我自身的翻譯 但其實我看不懂也不理解)
2.你學習法語、物理、歷史或工商管理是希望得到甚麼，其實你是很清楚的。你希望你能夠擺脫學習哲學？你能否告訴自己失去了理念而又得到了甚麼？你的成績在這個過程中會是一個很好的指標嗎？為什麼呢？為什麼不呢？
3.這是一個奇怪的時代，國際記者定期報導出誰的親人說他們已經被外星人綁架了，和女演員雪莉‧麥克雷恩的報導中，她在過去死因是被一隻白色的大象踐踏致死的故事。另一方面在最近的幾十年中，我們也看到了來自月球的電視直播報導和單個原子的電子顯微鏡照片。我們怎麼知道現實與虛構之間的區別呢？瘋狂的人拒絕相信自己的眼睛並且說人類在月球上的照片是假的。

1.The great seventeenth-and eighteenth-century philosophers all thought that a study of human nature could reveal the limits and foundation of our knowledge of nature. How would they have responded to the possi-bility that there are rational, nonhuman forms of life in the universe that have knowledge, but not a human nature?
2. It is pretty clear what you hope to get out of studying French, or physics, or history, or business administration. What can you hope to get out of studying philosophy? How can you tell whether you are-getting out of philosophy what you hope to get? Is your grade in this course a good indicator? Why? Why not?

These are strange times, what with The National Enquirer regularly fea-turing stories about people who say they have been kidnapped by aliens, and the actress Shirley MacLaine reporting that in a previous life she was stomped to death by a white elephant.On the other hand, in recent decades we have also seen live television transmissions from the moon and electron microscope photographs of individual atoms. How can we tell the difference between truth and fiction?
請問各位大大這種哲學問題該如何解釋及說明呢

1.人是有限的存在，以有限之知去探索無盡的宇宙是徒勞無功的。所以我們必須了解人性才能知道我們的極限到哪。而在我們能思考/知覺/感覺以外的知識是不必要的，因此那些外星人的反應如何與我何干~
2.你想學習或不想學法語、物理...的原因你會很清楚，但是哲學呢?你如何辨別你是否正離開哲學?是因為成績嗎? WHY?WHY NOT?
學法語、物理...是因為這些學科可能是以後工作需要。而哲學除非是走進學術殿堂，否則會和工作無直接關連。但無直接關連不代表它無用，而它的應用端看每個人如何去發揮。

全段中“拒絕相信自己的眼睛”就是關鍵。
傳統智慧：耳聽為虛，眼見為實。確實個人來說眼看見比耳聽實在。
但人眼看多了。就開始自己的眼都不相信了。
那麼相信 科學家、專家、醫生、報紙、領袖就更不實在吧。
最後可以弄得什麼都不相信。仍然相信明天太陽會東上西落已經不錯了。
